(NEW ORLEANS) – The James Beard House has invited Galatoire’s Restaurant, the grand dame of time-honored restaurants in New Orleans, to bring the “French Quarter Legend” to New York City, Saturday, March 8.

            Executive Chef of Galatoire’s and 33 Bar & Steak Michael Sichel, and Executive Chef of Galatoire’s Bistro Kelley McCann prepared a menu that honors the tradition and heritage of Galatoire’s French cuisine.

            “It’s an honor for Galatoire’s to be invited to cook at one of the most prestigious restaurant institutions in the country,” said Melvin Rodrigue,president and CEO of Galatoire’s. “We’ve prepared a menu that encompasses the rich flavors and ingredients that define Galatoire’s with a culinary twist.             Fried Louisiana Oysters, Crawfish Maison Deviled Eggs and Sautéed Frog Legs are just a few of the starters not to miss on the James Beard House menu.
