Galatoire’s “33” Bar & Steak will present a beer dinner featuring Sierra Nevada Brewing on Wednesday, June 24. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served at 6:30 p.m. followed by a dinner at 7 p.m. featuring four courses crafted by Executive Chef Michael Sichel. Each course will be paired with a selection from Sierra Nevada Brewery.

             Started as a homebrew in 1972 with the goal to create beer people actually want to drink, Sierra Nevada practiced the craft and grew over the decades. Today, the beers are designed to be as “bold, wild and unwavering” as the Sierra Nevada Mountains.

Named number five in the Thrillist list of Best Steakhouses in New Orleans, Galatoire’s “33” Bar & Steak is located at 215 Bourbon St., adjacent to the grand dame Galatoire’s restaurant. Bar “33” is open from 11 a.m. – close, Tuesday through Sunday, and 5 p.m. – close on Monday. The dining room is open Sunday – Thursday from 5 – 10 p.m., and 5 – 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. The dining room is also open for Friday lunch. Galatoire's dress code is business casual for lunch.  No shorts or t-shirts.  Jackets are required for gentlemen starting at 5 p.m. nightly and all day Sunday.
